You can help to further the aims of the Trust by becoming a MEMBER.

Currently annual membership is: Ordinary membership £12:Senior membership £6:Family membership £25; Junior Member ship £3;Life Membership £100

This allows you free entry to the Heritage Centre whenever you like. A Newsletter is published twice a year and there is a programme of monthly events for which you are able to get discounted tickets.

St Peter's Heritage Hall, formerly the church hall for St Peter's Parish Church, sits on part of the Glebe land  near the River Dee. This composite picture show the hall in Ballater, next to the present day Lark's Gallery. It was in use as an "Iron Kirkie" until about 1907 before being brought to Culter by rail.

  • Your Village Hall

    One of the main objectives of the Community Association is to help provide as wide a range of social, educational and recreational activities in Culter Village Hall as possible.

    Organisation and management of the hall is carried out by an executive committee. The committee is made up of representatives of the user groups and the local community as well as members of staff.

    The committee meets once a month. If you would like more information about the committee or indeed like to join, then please contact the Hall Administrator  Tel. 734371 or call in to the hall.

    Culter and District Community Association is a charitable and voluntary organisation instituted in 1947 to operate Culter Village Hall which is owned by the residents of Peterculter.


    Culter Village Hall is totally self-financing and receives no help financially or otherwise from any Local Authority.
